More and more clients are seeking to find ways of dealing with Childhood Trauma. I feel so personally and professionally rewarded when a client is successful in using Foundations Hypnosis and Life Coaching to reduce and eliminate Childhood Trauma, as it allows me to feel like I am making an impact in the world as people are coming to grips with their own Isolation, Stress, and Childhood Trauma.
AS I explain to clients, when they first start the Foundations Hypnosis and Emotional Release Therapy program, I will not personally be able to make them do anything or stop anything, but what I can do is show them how they can use their own powerful consciousness and neuroplasticity to reduce the effects of the childhood trauma.
You have no control over other people and events, but you do have control over you and specifically your reactions or responses to other people and events.
We are all programed with images and messages throughout our lives, and our earliest images and messages become our unconscious guides. These, often time, unconscious images and messages cause our three main arch types, the Inner Judge, the Inner Victim, and the Inner Warrior to come into play and whenever we come up against any situation in our lives, we immediately and unconsciously Judge the situation, (through our Inner Judge), our Inner Victim accepts the judgement, and our Inner Warrior reacts with whatever coping mechanism we can, which can be coping mechanisms that we adopt to try and make our lives better.
Think about that, when you come up against any situation or event that our Inner Judge views as a threat to our well being, (something life threatening, or a verbal / personal attack, or any event that causes us to recall our imbedded feelings from childhood) our Inner Warrior responds by filling our bodies with more tension and more stress.
Stress and tension are the body’s response to what we perceive as harmful situations. When you feel threatened, chemical reactions occur in the body that enables us to respond in ways to help prevent injury. These responses are known as “fight-or-flight,” or the stress/ trauma response. These stress / trauma responses cause, your heart rate to increase, your breathing quickens, your muscles tighten, and your blood pressure rises. You’ve now ready to act, it is how we protect ourselves.
Using Hypnosis and Emotional Release Therapy, you will learn how to become very Mindful and Aware of these responses and how you are not those responses, but you are the Master of those responses, those thoughts, those Emotions.
